Facets of Wonder (Big idea)
This year, let’s ignite every guest’s shopping journey through a fun, festive and faceted spectrum of celebrations. We’ll evoke emotion and help all feel seen with imagery that magnifies a range of traditions, with dimension revealing even more wonder as guests wander.
We’ll welcome guests into a layered holiday landscape, as traditions unfold across the store. Color stories create clear destinations for the guest to navigate, while shadows and depth show the dimension and diversity behind the design

But first, Target.
So much prep goes into making back to school awesome. With everything they want, plus everything they need, and at prices you’ll love, Target is the FIRST, and only destination to get your family ready for school.
We reinforced Target’s affordability by amplifying the week’s top deals across multiple months. With a branded red and white world we created instant brand recognition during a crowded seasonal moment that was unmistakably Target for social, digital, and print channels. We pulled in iconic school graphics, including graph paper and pencil/marker doodles, and offered fresh perspectives for model & product photography.

Color-blocking meets “Things Organized Neatly” to help us deliver a new and modern approach to 2019 Back to School campaign. Items live in an object-structured grid to create a highly visual impact while models live in a geometric world that takes color blocking to the next level. Inspired by these two hot trends, we infused their look & feel creating a new way of styling that is both soothing and magical.

With collaboration and efficiency in mind, TREAT and THYMES worked together to bring three disparate collections together with one unified package design. We created a new framework and applied hundreds of SKUs. Colorful artwork provided visual scent cues, and wood tones organized fragrance families. We streamlined design details that not only created consistencies, but resulted in cost savings.

Mother’s Day was extra special in 2020. We all desperately needed a reason why to celebrate life and find joy in the middle of a pandemic.
We concepted a multi-channel campaign for Promo that aligned to what the Target brand was doing enterprise-wide while also giving our initiatives a special twist. We took the illustrated flowers originally designed for Store Experience Marketing and we brought them to real life with a crafty touch. We transformed the digital vector illustrations into paper flowers. Dozens of paper flowers big and small were created and then animated into stop-motion. The result was almost magical and so appealing that our stop-motion animation inspired other teams and ended up on a display at the very top of Target HQ.
